CHICO, Calif. — Chico State Athletics has announced an innovative new partnership, becoming the latest in a recent surge of departments to sign an agreement with FanWord, the leader in AI-powered written content for college sports.
The three-year agreement with FanWord brings the company’s flagship product, FanWord Assist, into its communications operation.
Primarily built for sports information departments, FanWord Assist helps create game recaps, award nominations, player bios, feature stories, and other digital storytelling content much more efficiently, giving the Chico State community a unique look beyond the uniform of its student-athletes and programs.
“Chico State Athletics has built a championship tradition over many years, and we are always looking for innovative ways to showcase that legacy. Our new partnership with FanWord will allow us to enhance the storytelling while staying focused on what matters most: celebrating our student-athletes, coaches, alumni and our Wildcat Family,” said Eric Coleman, Chico State Executive Athletics Director.
