BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Ferris State University Athletics has entered into a three-year partnership with FanWord, one of the leading AI technology and storytelling companies in college sports, to integrate FanWord Assist across its athletic programs. Through this collaboration, Bulldog Athletics will leverage AI-powered solutions to streamline content creation and enhance its storytelling impact across platforms.
FanWord Assist, the company’s flagship product, is an AI-powered platform designed specifically for athletic communications teams. The software helps programs efficiently create written content including game recaps, feature stories, and player bios, ensuring consistency in voice while expanding storytelling volume.

Ferris State joins FanWord’s rapidly-growing roster of more than 150 athletic organizations across all levels. Within the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), FanWord also partners with Davenport and Roosevelt, while other institutions such as Oakland University, William & Mary, and King University are also utilizing FanWord Assist.
