About Boise State Esports

Overwatch Captain

Christopher Aumueller

I grew up playing video games in the basement of my parents' house in New Jersey, fulfilling all the gaming cliches you can think of. But over the past couple of years, video games became more than just a distraction from the daily struggles of a teenager. They became an outlet for development. One that allowed me to learn skills & traits the classroom couldn't teach me the same way. And best of it all, it also fed my competitive nature. Something that has carried over into other areas of life such as academics. Being decent wasn't enough anymore. No, I wanted to be the best I could be.
