FanWord and Liberty University are extending their storytelling partnership after a successful first season.
The renewed partnership will keep the focus on telling student-athlete stories from their point of view, while also giving fans a unique look into the personal lives of some of their favorite athletes and teams.
“We were thrilled with the level of service provided by the staff at FanWord, last year, and we are excited to continue to work with them during the athletics season,” said Liberty University Associate AD for Communications Todd Wetmore.
“FanWord’s approach to storytelling is very unique and one that was well received by the passionate Flames Nation fan base.”
Storytelling services for athletic departments, brands, and athletes.
“Todd and his colleagues are the type of partner you want to work with. They make this collaboration really enjoyable and you can see that they genuinely care about their student-athletes,” said Christopher Aumueller, CEO & Founder of FanWord.
“We are beyond excited to tell even more stories this year. Giving student-athletes an opportunity to share their personal stories also allows them to work on building their personal brands. We deeply care about this, especially with the upcoming changes to student-athletes’ Name, Image, and Likeness rights. It’s great to see Liberty University make an effort to assist their student-athletes on that front as well.”
Stories will be published periodically throughout the season on multiple digital and social channels, including the libertyflames.fanword.com website. Stories about football players will also be included in gameday programs.
