FanWord and Liberty University are extending their storytelling partnership after a successful first season.
The renewed partnership will keep the focus on telling student-athlete stories from their point of view, while also giving fans a unique look into the personal lives of some of their favorite athletes and teams.
“We were thrilled with the level of service provided by the staff at FanWord, last year, and we are excited to continue to work with them during the upcoming athletics season,” said Liberty University Associate AD for Communications Todd Wetmore.
“FanWord’s approach to storytelling is very unique and one that was well received by the passionate Flames Nation fan base.”
In celebration of this partnership, we offer special deals to all brands headquartered in Virginia that want to grow through the power of storytelling.

“Todd and his colleagues are the type of partner you want to work with. They make this collaboration really enjoyable and you can sense that they genuinely care about their student-athletes,” said Christopher Aumueller, CEO & Founder of FanWord.
“We are beyond excited that we get an opportunity to tell even more stories this year and can’t wait to get started again.”
Stories will be published periodically throughout the upcoming season on multiple digital and social channels, including the libertyflames.fanword.com website. Stories about football players will also be included in gameday programs.
“Giving student-athletes an opportunity to share their personal stories also allows them to make a big step towards building their brands. And Liberty University is clearly making an effort to assist their student-athletes on that front as well,” said Christopher Aumueller.
The partnership is set to launch in early September.
