TALLAHASSEE – Florida State University Athletics has entered a new partnership with FanWord, the leading AI storytelling company in college sports, to enhance its digital communications efforts.
Through this collaboration, the Seminoles will integrate FanWord Assist, FanWord’s AI-powered content creation platform, to bring greater efficiency, consistency and reach to the department’s storytelling efforts. FanWord Assist is designed specifically for athletics communications teams, simplifying and accelerating the creation of written content such as game recaps, feature stories and bios. By combining AI technology with human oversight, the platform allows Florida State to scale content production while maintaining the authenticity and voice that defines the FSU brand.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of how college athletics communicates and connects, as well as a meaningful step forward as we continue to evolve how we tell our story,” Florida State deputy athletics director for strategic communications Doug Walker said. “FanWord provides a platform that enhances our ability to produce high-quality content at scale, while still relying on the judgment and creativity of our staff.”
