When someone you refer signs up for an annual (or multi-year) FanWord Assist partnership, you join our exclusive FanWord+ community and earn awesome rewards. We handle the details, you just share the success. There’s no complex process or tiers. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for being a FanWord champion and helping other programs discover a faster and better way to create stories and content.

HOW IT WORKS
Referring a colleague is quick and easy
Invite a Colleague
Tell a fellow SID, athletic director, conference commissioner, etc. about FanWord Assist. When they’re ready, have them get in touch with us or introduce us via email/text.
They join FanWord Assist
If your referred colleague’s organization decides to come on board, great! Once they sign an annual (or multi-year) FanWord Assist contract, the referral is officially qualified.
You earn a Reward
As soon as the contract is signed, we’ll reach out to you, get you added to our FanWord+ community, and you get your rewards, making fulfillment quick and easy.

Program Rules and Eligibility
To keep FanWord+ fair and effective for everyone, please note these key rules and eligibility criteria.
FanWord+ is open to our current partners who are already using FanWord Assist.
Any organization that isn’t already in our pipeline. In other words, they shouldn’t have had a demo in the past three months.
For your referral to count, the referred organization needs to sign the contract within 90 days of the referral.
We may verify eligibility for any referral, and we reserve the right to void rewards if something isn’t on the up-and-up.
This program is about spreading (the good) FanWord to other organizations and departments that could benefit from FanWord Assist, including other departments on campus. (i.e. advancement, admissions, etc.)
We may adjust the rules or rewards in the future to improve it, but we’ll notify participants if that happens.

Any current FanWord Assist customer can participate – that includes sports information directors, athletic directors, conference communications personnel, or anyone who’s an active user of FanWord Assist.
You can refer any organization, collegiate or high school athletic department, or conference that could benefit from FanWord Assist. The only restriction is that they should not be an active prospect or client already. If they haven’t had a FanWord Assist demo in the last three months, they’re eligible to be referred. Think of peers at other schools, for example, who might love to save time on writing recaps and stories – those are great referrals.
Right now, the easiest way is to share this program with your colleague and introduce them via email to your FanWord representative. If your referral decides to schedule a demo/call differently, they simply need to mention your name during the meeting. We’re keeping it simple: no lengthy forms for you to fill out.
We will notify you as soon as your referred school signs their contract. At that point, you’ll automatically join the FanWord+ program.
Absolutely! In fact, we hope you do. There’s no limit to how many colleagues or schools you can refer. For each referred organization that becomes a new FanWord Assist customer, you’ll earn another reward. The more, the merrier.
Not at all. There’s no fee to participate and no catch. The only “cost” is a few minutes of your time to recommend FanWord Assist to a colleague. The rewards are our way of giving back to you.
